Pudding Shots
We have all heard of jello shots right? well how about Pudding Shots? I went around the other day to people I know and asked them if they had ever heard of a pudding shot, almost know body had; actually it didn't sound very good to me until I started thinking about different possibilities and flavors that could be made. Most of the recipes for jello pudding shots I found were made with either vanilla or Baileys Irish Cream which is great but I wanted to mix things up a little and be creative, so I went to work in the test kitchen and started to experiment with this big kid desert or I guess the cousin to the jello shot. All of these recipes should be made to taste and alcohol preference depending on how strong you want them; are you looking for a little bite after dinner or do you want to knock your neighbors of there butts its your decision, take what I give you, be creative and let me know what you come up with, I love hearing your ideas.

Pudding Shots With Alcohol
The most popular recipe that people search for seems to be the chocolate pudding shots recipe and almost every where I looked it called for Baileys Irish Cream, which to me would make an Irish cream shot not a plain chocolate one so I came up with my own version that is fantastic and you wont find it anywhere else so put on your Cocktail Master shirt and get ready for supreme yummy-ness.
Chocolate Pudding Shot Recipe
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/2 cup of Pinnacle Chocolate Whipped Vodka
- 1/2 cup of Godiva Milk Chocolate Liquor
- 1 package of instant chocolate Jello Pudding (smaller box)
- 1 small container of Cool Whip
In a medium to large bowl mix together the milk, chocolate whipped vodka, milk chocolate liquor and the instant pudding mix for a few minutes or until it is completely mixed, a mixer should not be necessary simply use a plastic spoon or a whisk.
Now that the pudding mixture is well blended fold in the whipped cream, this step is easier if the Cool Whip is room temperature.
Pour or spoon your pudding mixture into the desired shot glass or disposable shot cup; put the pudding shots on a cookie sheet or tray and refrigerate for at least an hour, keep them chilled until you are ready to serve them. Remember these are shots the consistency will be a little different than normal pudding; more like a mouse, for a firmer pudding shot you can put them in the freezer for a while.
Now that you have a general knowledge of the recipe ( 1 cup milk, 1 total cup alcohol and 1 package of Jello Pudding you can really go crazy and create your own treat.
TIP: These contain alcohol and are for adults only; if you feel they are to strong simply cut back on the alcohol by a 1/4th of cup and add 1/4th of cup more milk.
